Most likely, you’ll be able to count on one hand the number of Twingos that get brought over here. And that includes zero.

Buy one now so they can’t do that anymore! Or just buy a slightly later one, anything pre 98 is sort of the same (they only got slight changes before getting the facelift in 98), so you’ve got a few years.

They might double and be worth 1000 euros!!!

I like the Twingo but I think the Renault Clio Mk1 is a better car of the same period.
((granted both below won’t be eligible for another two years)).
Clio 1.2 RN (60bhp), £950, not bad for a very clean 1995 car.
or
Clio 1.2 Prima, £1,395 again on a 1995 plate.

There are about 30 Jalops who really covet the Twingo. Maybe 1 or 2 who will actually buy them.
If Trump gets re-elected in a few years, I’m moving my family to Hvar (my mom’s family’s Old Country) and buying one. Or a Polo. Keep your eyes open for me! Hvala.

I mean, I doubt that anyone is seriously considering buying one to import. I think you’re good.

The dudes chanting in Sanskrit? I don’t know a lot of Indian car enthusiasts, but Renault is pretty unknown here.
Indians never got a Renault anything, till Renault got into a Joint venture with Mahindra in 2009 and sold the “Logan”. And then Renault started selling cars from it’s lineup, but nothing exciting.
(I know it’s a joke)

I find the Clio’s face to be slightly less offensive than the Twingo’s face.
Just a little too much “I’M SO HAPPY”.

The Clio Mk1 was a vert honest and very good little car.

lol I had no idea what language that was.
So the Logan was badged as a Mahindra there? Here it’s a Dacia.

I don’t blame you. Its not a very well known language.
We don’t get Dacia here. Even Duster is a Renault car here.
